The Sunday night meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors was to harmonise areas of differences in the approach towards successful primaries for the party ahead 2015, leaders of the party have said. The closed door meeting, held at First Lady Wing of the State House, began at 9pm and ended at 12.05am. Abia State Governor Theodore Orji told journalists that the meeting was aimed at fortifying the PDP with a view to ensuring that candidates emerge through credible primaries.
