But she was never more badass than when she took the stage to accept the awards for best rap artist and best rap/hip-hop album, shutting out her male counterparts Drake, 28, and Eminem.

“It means so much that I can stand here against Eminem and Drake and come out with this,” an emotional Iggy told the crowd, calling Eminem out while still keeping in classy and focusing on what really matters — the music.

“This award is the first award I’ve ever won in my entire life, and [it] means so much to me that it is for best hip-hop, because that’s what inspired me to move to America and pursue my dreams,” Iggy continued. “It’s what helped me when I was a teenager to escape and to get through my life and to better times.” We love you, Iggy!
